A legendary brand, essentially a Ferrari before Enzo got his road car business together. F1 car technology in a gorgeous hand-built coupe. Here is a Z-103, the less expensive budget model, which you can pick up for around $900,000 if you can find one of the 86 cars they ever made.

Good lord
This makes me feel naught

It’s churlish of me to ask, but what the crap is going on with the shifter position? Also, the pedals are ridiculous.

The Z102B is also phenomenally gorgeous

The transmission is a rear—mounted motorcycle-style dog clutch “crash box” 5 speed transmission capable of being shifted without use of the clutch.

Probably to make it easier to move your hand from wheel to the shifter, and from the gas to the brake. They may have spaced them properly for heel toeing as well.

...and they decided to make the linkage as direct as possible rather than putting it up on the tunnel, because ergonomics are for weirdos. Got it.

That’s a Saoutchik-bodied Pegaso. Absolutely gorgeous.

Along with the suspension, engine, and brakes they also apparently took the ergonomics of F1 for this car.

Here's a Pegaso Z-102 Touring Spyder I saw at last year's Pebble Beach

I made that same sound when I saw it. I don’t have any other pictures, but you can see the side profile next to this Kurtis

They had a big display at Rétromobile in Paris this year with a fair proportion of those 86 cars present.

The Pegaso Z-102 supercharged was the fastest road car in the world at one point.
If I was a multi-billionaire philanthropist I’d probably try and resurrect Pegaso. Make a new supersports and hypercar company and base it entirely in Greece as an effort to bring some money back into their economy.

Forget Greece make them in Spain like the originals.

I might have put it similarly. That’s an engine that makes one simply stop and stare. Wouldn’t you love to hear it run?

Bugger, I always get that confused. I assume Pegaso-Pegasus-Greece.
Spain it is!
